Rear engine baffle springs

I am putting new baffles on my plane.

According to the parts manual, the rear baffle is held by two spring loaded wires that connect around the rear cylinder on each side.

I got new baffles from the place in AK, but they only drilled one hole.

Since your airplane is so low in time, could you see if you can take a pic of where those spring wires connect to the rear baffle and post it?

Your restoration journal is really cool. You will have a show winner when done. I wish my fuselage was as clean as yours!

Let me know if you need part numbers for those springs, and i can look them up.

Thanks!

Martin

Martin,
Here is a photo taken during the fitting stage of our baffle rebuild. The holes for the rear cylinder spring retainer are visible. they worked out very well. I hope this helps.

Steve,

Perfect!!!

Thanks, that is exactly what I needed!

Thanks so much for posting those pics.

I am jealous of your low time C-140, mine has too many hours on the airframe, a little over 6000.

Thanks again,

Martin
