Post by 6898 »

Unfortunately Cindy and I will not be able to attend this years S&F. Scott and Linda have been there last two years and are wintering out west this year so there out too.
We have six entry passes and 4 parking permits which are free. We use this Type Table event for a meet and greet to our present members and inquiring new ones. The show starts Tuesday and we end the table Friday . Please contact me if your interested for a day or more. Thank You JEFF

Dear SUN ‘n FUN Forums Presenter:
To our Educational Forum presenters who have participated in the past, thank you for making our program so successful! We are looking forward to another successful week of shared aviation knowledge and information. The dates for SUN ‘n FUN 2023 are March 28 - April 2. We hope you can join us!
Our 2023 Forum Registration is open. Our online registration form has one new element, we are requesting a bio on the presenter if available. Our schedule will be used on our newly designed website and brand-new event app along with the new bio information. We hope to have a version of the app available soon.
If this is the first time you have received an invitation to participate in SUN 'n FUN's Educational Forums, welcome! We would be delighted to have you with us this year! You choose the topic, as long as it is aviation-based and educational. The format is a 50-minute presentation with 5 minutes at the start and end to set up and close out for a total of 1 hour. We have a great team of volunteers in the Educational Forums area that are looking forward to hosting your visit and will be available to ensure you have a successful time while you are here.

Presenters are not permitted to promote or sell any product or service during the scheduled presentation. EDUCATIONAL FORUMS cannot be used in place of an exhibit space purchase, this is strictly an educational opportunity for our guests to enjoy. If you are interested in an exhibit space, please click here for an Exhibit Space Application.

If you would like to register, please visit the Forums Page, and complete the registration form at the bottom of the page. Once you have submitted your registration, you should receive a confirmation email, (check your junk mail). If you don’t receive this email notification, we most likely did not receive your submission, try a different method (desktop, phone or tablet) or a different browser if possible and please make sure your email address is correct. Please contact me if you have tried the above suggestions with no results, contact me.
Please complete your registration prior to February 15 to insure that you are included in the printed version of our Daily Schedule that will appear in our In-Flight Guide.
We will take the information that you provide and begin building our forums schedule which will be a part of the 2023 Daily Schedule. Once the schedule starts to be filled, we will provide you with a link to confirm your schedule.
We want to give as many presenters as possible the opportunity to participate during the week, this provides for a well-rounded selection of topics for our guests to choose from. Presenters are allowed up to six presentation slots during the six-day period. If you schedule six, you are required to hold two of presentations on Tuesday and/or Sunday. Of course, if there is a need to return to the four-presentation format, you will be notified. The schedule is subject to change. Please do not request all week!

We schedule forums every day of the show, Tuesday-Sunday from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm with the last presentation finishing by 2:00 pm. Our forums are conducted in 12-16 air-conditioned classrooms located in the Central Florida Aerospace Academy (CFAA) located on James C. Ray Dr. on the southwest corner SUN 'n FUN Expo grounds. The number of classrooms is dependent on student classroom needs during the week.

Please email our Forums Scheduler if you have questions regarding the schedule or if you must cancel your presentation. We strive to provide our guests with the most accurate event information as possible so they can plan a successful visit to SUN ‘n FUN! If cancellation is necessary, please let us know as soon as possible so we can reschedule the time slot, if possible.
If you are new to forums and would like additional info on how forums work, please send an email to the address above and we will be glad to answer questions and also send you a complete outline of the format and requirements.
If you are a past presenter who has experienced low attendance, please consider that your Forum Title is the main draw of your presentation. Most of the time attendance can be increased by simply making the forum title more dynamic, i.e. "Which engine oils are right for your engine?" as opposed to "Engine Oils", keeping in mind we have a 50-character limit for titles!
SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo dates for 2023 will be March 28 - April 2.
If you no longer wish to receive emails from us, please reply with a REMOVE EMAIL in the body of the email
Thank you, we look forward to your participation!

If someone may be considering, we enthusiastically endorse the experience of "staffing" the Association's Type Club presence @ SNF. Just do it! The admission/parking perks are significant(!), certainly, but the fun of meeting, greeting, and visiting with many members of the 120/140 family as well as just being immersed in the flightline and fly-in excitement is an incredible privilege and truly an honor. Located adjacent/across taxiway to the "Vintage HQ" (FSAACA) you can expect a steady stream of like-minded new and old friends. As opportunity may present, assisting with the Maintenance Forum and, possibly, arranging and hosting an evening group gettogether can add even more to the fulfilling and important week's activities. Further enhanced with the on-site camping "village" experience (if camping, of course) and 24/7 with plane people, planes and place stuff makes it all worth the trip. An experience & very special relationships developed that you'll treasure forever! While distances and available time prevented us from continuing involvement as the Association's reps @ SNF for a number of years in the past, the experience remains at the top of our "life's special enjoyables list". Yep, if you're even considering, just do it!
