I've just learned that former Association prez and world famous airshow announcer, Howard "Howdy" McCann Jr. has passed away. Long time airshow announcer for David Shultz Airshows, Mr. Shultz has shared his own thoughts about Howdy that fit so well: "He was a mentor, confident, story teller, larger-than-life person that touched tens of millions of people in his lifetime". How fortunate we all are that Howdy has touched a lot of us here in the 120-140 family over the years. Friendships are precious, no doubt we all agree.
