Yes, I can still do a decent 3-point....and here's the proof-
Been futzing with one thing after another for so long after my overhaul it was a treat to just go up and fly to my local fishing hole without it being some sort of test flight. This is WA46 Daybreak/LaCenter here just north of Vancouver WA, grass strip along the east fork of the Lewis River. The approach is thru some trees so you are bobbing and weaving on short final, but it's worth the visit. Private strip the owner allows us to use, plus camping, he's very accomodating to the locals. https://www.airnav.com/airport/WA46
A new Citabria owner just happened to be there checking out the fishing when I landed and caught me touching down on video. I traded fishing tips for the video download
...looks like a good approach, 'though obviously over the river and through the woods -- nicely done, Dave. What a nifty place that's gotta be & it does appear to have pretty easy & close access to the river for some serious fishing. It's only 1997 miles for me, so I'll prob need a little head start to meet you there! Thanks for sharing the video!! Mac

Your plane looks great Dave! Let's get together sometime. I'm based out of Puyallup KPLU. We could meet at Chehalis for lunch at the golf course sometime or anywhere really. I'd love to check out what you've done to your plane.

Unless something has changed recently then yes, their contact is on AirNav if you want to check in with the Swanson family.
I'd steer clear for a few days, we're getting a lot of rain and it'll be a little squishy till it drains. Usually camping in the late spring thru late fall until the rains make timing more important.
They sometimes host family events or Boy Scout stuff so if you are overflying and you see a bunch of campers or activity then we usually give them the courtesy and not bother them. They are truly great folks to have on our side!
