Adding here as I've had no response trying to get it added in the event area.
Planning an informal fly in for Waterbury (N41) airport in Plymouth, CT for October 24th. A few of us will be flying in on the Friday and camping out for the weekend of anyone is interested in that as well. Nice little grass strip with two runways (17/25 @ 2,005' and 02/20 @ 1,600' with trees at all approach ends for the most part) in west-central Connecticut. It's in a nice area, and we will likely do some flying out at some point on Saturday as well, to other strips in the area.
You will need to bring your own tie-downs. We are working on getting some porte-johns delivered and will provide an update on that when we can. Should be a fun time and hopefully not too cold yet. Should be a beautiful flight in and out as we should be somewhere around peak foliage by then I imagine.
Once it is closer, I will look for confirmations to get an idea of how many we can expect so we can plan accordingly. Hope some of y'all up here in the northeast can make it in.

Definitely on for the 24th. We will have a porta-potty onsite for restrooms and will be doing a grill lunch (burger and hot dogs) or food trucks (depending on how much interest we are seeing). Some of us will be camping out at the airfield Friday and/or Saturday night if you would be interested in doing that as well. If you plan to come, please let me know so we can get an idea of headcount, etc. Some details on the strip below; obviously check your source of choice (AFD, FF, GP, Airfield Guide, etc.) and NOTAMs, etc. before coming in. Andy questions, you can shoot me a text at (860) 305-4163.

Well, I did try to get there, but it was raining. I hope others may have had a better outcome.
Thanks, none the less to the organiser for going the distance. Seemed like a very interesting place to visit, hope to get there some day soon.

The weather improved a bit on Saturday afternoon and we got a few folks in. Sunday ended up being a beautiful day and lots of folks came in for the day. Ended up getting 25 different aircraft in over the course of the 2 days and over 40 people - was a great time and we will do it again next year. On Sunday, amount the many planes were two 120s and a 140; all from the Northampton, MA area I believe. See the photos to follow.
