iPads mounted in the line of vision in these airplanes might have their place in congested high density environments where ADS-B IN is by popular demand replacing eyeballs for traffic separation, but even at my age I think my 70 year old eyeballs are a helluva lot better resource than some synthesized electronic device when flying a Cessna 120/140. An iPhone sitting on my thigh and occasionally in the palm of my hand is more than sufficient, including on flights beneath DEN class B and into northern Colorado airports. If there ever comes a time when I feel compelled to give myself the line of vision option, it will still be with an iPhone as opposed to letting an iPad hog precious space. After all it's not like we're flying swept wing jets at 250 kts below 10,000 feet msl, unless maybe we just want to pretend that we are
