I am sad to report that Mr. Jeffers passed away several months ago.
He has a 140 based at Peru, IN.
The 140 is going to a grandson who is now a student pilot in Ohio.

Thanks for posting, Larry -- sad to lose a member of the 120/140 Family, but good to know that Ralph's prized 140 will be still be a part of his family. No doubt it's a special experience for his grandson now learning to fly. Here's hoping that he's having some fun with Granddad's plane and that he'll join us here and share the continuing story of N76344! (Thanks, too, for your help with the transition!) Mac

So sorry to hear this. Prayers for his family. I think the 140 staying in the family will always be a reminder of his love of aviation and the 140. I have a 1957 vehicle that was my grandfathers he was thoughtful and kind by gifting it to Cindy and I in 1985. I think of him always and tell that story to those who ask the history of the car.
