Just to add to Victors post ; Sturgis was great ! Thanks to Bruce for hosting and his crew for taking care of all the stuff that is behind the scenes. Cindy and I traveled out in the camper and met up with Scott and Linda Ross in Sioux City. There fun to travel with in the air or on the ground we have a good time. We flew out 12 years ago so know the route, this year we brought merchandise out and, well we all know the caring cap. on the 140!
We arrived at Spearfish campground later Sat. after stopping by Badlands. Visiting with Don and Maureen Alesi was fun seeing them in there cabin up in the hills. Got to see some fun nature sights so much to do there ,and if you like SAAB's (Fun Sweden Autos) theirs a world class museum in Sturgis that one of our newest owner and First time member owns.
Turn out was low this year so many thoughts on why? Fuel and economy, Reno Racing, Kids back to school, To far for west or east coaster's, we did have several from the west coast back off from fire smoke. And we will get registration and better planning of hotels and events on line sooner this year. Knowing that was a problem this year and I apologize for that.
Brett and his father Gary Willie will be hosting 2023 at Decorah Iowa Sept. 12-16th so stay tuned for all the info and make plans early so we can have a big turn out the more the better.
