Facebook Page

There are currently two, myself included, paid members waiting approval to be able to post on the facebook page. Does the Association need an additional moderator who is more active on FB? I understand the need to work to keep spammer off the page. Can anyone help with this issue?

I’ve requested permission three times with no response.

Guessing its just the 1 month FB rule. Lots of good info on the FB page so don’t let the inconvenience run your off.

Hi,
There are two FB pages for the Cessna 120-140 aircraft.
The "Cessna 120/140 Association Official Group"
and
"Cessna 120/140 Club".

If you have had no success getting on the "Association Group" I will reach out to the two moderators there and see what I can assist with.
I don't know who owns the "Club" group and have no way of being able to get in touch with them.
Send me a PM if you like and I'll see what I can do.'

PS. Tom, I did reach out to one of the moderators on the Association Group to look for you, if could get me the other members name I'll ask that they look for that application as well.

One of several bright, shiny objects engineered to catch the eye of the younger generation and suck their brains out while collecting more private information about them than they realize ever existed.

We're working on that.

It concerns me greatly that younger people (and some not so young people) are so willing to post personal information about themselves, and so unconcerned about the data that sites like facebook are collecting about them. Look at facebook's business model. They make their considerable profit by selling information to their customers. You are the product, not the customer. Every feature facebook adds is to further entice you to leave more information, spend more time there, and look at more ads. [/soapbox]

(Sorry; I've seen what social media does to my two daughters, as if teen age girls don't have enough to deal with in the real world...)

Tom, Thank you, we are aware that posting pictures is easier on FB. We are working on a solution to post pics with little effort here as well.
