Re: Uavionix Tailbeacon.
Yuppers, that's my plan....I have one on pre-order.
I was going to install the Skybeacon, but after seeing the Tailbeacon at OSH (very sweet), decided the tail version would look best on my old bird. This whole ADSB out thing is obnoxious enough as it is without having some 21st Century thing hanging off my 1947 rag wing. I wasn't based under Chicago Mode 'C' veil I would never do it. But...I have to because I live on an airport community and my house is my "hangar" (actually huge garage attached to the house) and I'm not moving me or the airplane.
So this looks like the best option by far.
Sure wish I had a 120 right about now
Mike

Re: Uavionix Tailbeacon.
Interesting. I'm moving to Huntsville so now i have to get ADS-B.
Looking at the literature I am confused if this is out only. The webpage link says ADS-B out. However, it is in the transceiver product section and in the config document you can enable ADS-IN capability. So which is it? Not sure how you would use the ADS-in data anyway...
