Hello. I'm the new owner of N140X, purchased from an insurance salvage auction because it snapped its right gear leg at the step mounting hole while attempting an off airport landing. I've yet to see the airplane in person and just got the logs yesterday. Logs say it got an overhauled O-235 last year and has quite a few STCs (tail handle, VGs, cowl, etc.).
The 140 is located north of Sacramento and I plan on driving up from Tucson to fetch it the weekend after next. If anyone had a spare right gear leg, please let me know. I'd rather bring it home on its feet than on its belly.

Not too bad of an airplane from the looks of it. Shouldn't be too hard to get the repairs done and have it back in the air... Welcome!

Send me a pm if you haven't found a gear leg yet? I may be able to direct you some for sale. (email is better than pm)

I picked up the airplane Monday and got back to Tucson today. Kenny Faeth had a gear leg for me. I picked it up on the way to Plain Parts, where the airplane was stored. Dennis wasn’t available to load it for me, so I used an automotive floor jack, cribbing, and some straps to replace the broken gear leg and get the 140 up on my trailer. Unfortunately, the right wheel and brake were stolen from the crash site. Otherwise, looks like a nice little airplane. Minimal damage and Dennis did a professional job taking it apart to transport to his shop.
