Not bad on floats

I thought I would put this up as I have been contacted over the years about performance on floats. I'll attempt to put some You Tube links and a picture or two. This site and its members have been extremely valuable to my efforts. Thanks for the help!
-1946 140 w/ metalized wings
-85hp Continental up until now
Just put a Dream Machine on with 0200 conversion. It's really going scoot now.
-Edo 1400 floats w/ 337 for 85hp vs 90hp
-Takes 30 seconds to get off the water.
HOWEVER it doesn't take that much distance! This was a big revelation. A 185 takes twice the distance to get off in 22 seconds. I've always heard "You got to get off the water quick!" Less wear an tear on the floats and fuselage yes, but if you can find short little bays with protected water, also less wear and tear.
