Goodyear brakes

I have a 1946 140 serial is over 9000 with low flange 600x6 wheels and original brakes. So my question is about the linings or "pucks".
Univair lists the part number as 5011073 (NLA) but I think that the ones removed were 9511261. What numbers will work? Any differences between the numbers I listed? Any insights from you folks would be great. Thanks. Gary

There are virtually an infinite number of combinations of pucks, brakes, wheels and disks. I've even seen ones where the inboard puck was a different thickness from the outboard one. I guess I'd start by trying the ones that you found in there.

If you cut the new ones from truck brake lining material, you wouldn't be the first...

Oh, BTW, the Cessna parts catalog calls for 95-4777 inner and outer.

Reviving this post. I am hunting for brake pad pucks for my '46 140 S/N 11659. Like the OP, I am in need of Goodyear P/N 95-4777 which seems to be NLA anywhere. The ones coming off of the plane don't have a discernible part number, so I'm flying blind on finding an equivalent part. Anybody else found a superseded part number or at least a Goodyear puck that works?

Best that my A&P and I can tell, the rest of the brake hardware is original, or at least original part numbers.

Goodyear P/N 9511261 ended up being the winner. Will follow up if they do not work for some reason. By far the least expensive component of the Goodyear brake system! Crazy how much the hard parts cost.
