My '46 140 has a Lycoming 0-235C1 in it. I'm getting close to completing the restoration and am turning my attention to the cowlings. As far as I can determine the upper section and the nose bowl are from a '47. Not positive about the lower but that appears be a'46. As you can imagine it's a Frankenstein, having been cut up and patched badly. I have a very nice upper center section from a '46 and my plan is to get a '46 left and right hood along with a '46 nose bowl. I'm wondering if anyone has any advise regarding this installation and what if any modifications may be necessary so the cowlings fit correctly with the 0-235. Thanks,
Mike I
