140 Dorsel Fin

I see a 140 on Barnstormers that says it has the "rare" STC'd Dorsel fin.
It looks cool. Is this a real thing? I think it really looks good on the 140.

There was one. The STC was held by Dave Wiley (Wiley's Seaplane Base). Dave is deceased, so the STC is likely "abandoned". The purpose was to provide more lateral stability when floats were installed.
