The needle valve in carb has started leaking. It hasn’t been repaired in about 12 years and I’m thinking it’s time. Has anyone had any experience with Aircraft Supply exchanges?
My carb has been great so I’m reluctant to exchange it, but it looks like that might be the best option. Thoughts on other options? I’m in Northern Illinois and have used Bob Benja (happy with his work) in the past but lead time is an issue. It’s my understanding that the Stromberg Specialist (Bob is it?) is not taking any more work. I’ve also heard the shop in Rockford has had some quality issues (anecdotal feedback) so not sure if that is worth pursuing.
Switching to Marvel might be an option but I am reluctant to go there.
Anyway, feedback appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Aircraft Supply Stromberg Exchange
I had a good experience with Central Cylinder in Omaha overhauling my Stromberg two years ago.
