Extended axel bolts

Post by 6555 »

Hi All:

My 140 slipped off the jack while repacking the wheel bearings. I had the Lahti fiberglass wheel pants and the backing plate was damaged. I may be able to fix it but if anyone has access to the parts please let me know.

The axel bolts were longer than stock bolts I would appreciate it if anyone could let me know where I could get new ones, I dont want to reuse the old ones.

I have tried to contact Lahti but haven't had any luck so far..........Thanks All!

John Cooper lists 2 of the old NAS bolt sizes (now MS2004-28, MS2004-30) plus the nuts to go with them. I do not know what size you need or if these are long enough for attaching the wheelpants. John will chime in here shortly....

This of course is if you are using the 1/4" size bolts...

Thanks! I'll go out and measure them.

Does anyone know what happened to Matt Lahti, he is no longer listed in the directory?
