Regulator

Post by tomreneau »

Had a fresh overhauled generator go offline on the way to the Ranger fly in last weekend so hoping it is just a connection or at worst the regulator. Ive done a little looking and havent located a source for an 1118383 regulator yet. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks. Tom

Thanks. I may have to go that route. I am trying to stay with the stock appearance until after Oshkosh next year and i don’t think the old cover goes over the zeftronics unit. Maury not have a choice though.

Are you sure it's the regulator? If so, and it's an "original", they're mechanical, with points. You can probably clean the points and get it working again.
