Fiberglass wheel pants

Post by willys120 »

Good morning,
I have a 1947 C140 with Cleveland brakes, mounted in the rear position. Does anyone know if the Wagaero fiberglass wheel pants can be mounted in this configuration? I’ve heard about flat brackets vs dished ones, and also the cutouts not fitting Cleveland’s. I have a chance to purchase the wheel pants, only if I can mount them.
Thanks for the support,
Dave

I've seen them mounted both ways with fiberglass pants , you just need to make a mount bracket for that application.

Thanks Jeff, I heard the brackets need to be dished for the fiberglass and not flat like the standard wheel pants

The (original) mounting plates for the original wheel pants are not flat...
