Wheel pants

Post by willys120 »

Good evening,
I’ve been looking for some carbon fiber or fiberglass wheel pants, and the other associated parts. Does anyone know if the flat brackets are for the fiberglass pants, and the concaved for the original metal ones? I’m just beginning my search and it’s been difficult. I have a 140 without extenders, and I have the Cleveland brakes on the rear.
Thanks everyone,
Dave

The original metal pants have a concave plate. I was told by the fellow who was making the carbon fiber replicas that his plates were also concave. Cessna 150 etc. pants use a flat plate, but look completely different. I don't have any knowledge about fiberglass replica pants, if that's what you're thinking of.

Wag Aero made (makes?) Fiberglass wheel pants. Spruce took over their parts distribution and I can't find them on their website. Might be worth calling them

I have an old WagAero catalogue that has the part numbers. I’ll try calling ACS to see if they can still make them.
Thanks
