I had a bent mount as well and ended up buying a replacement on eBay from flyingcolorsairparts2014. Here's a link to one of the mounts they are selling:

My arrived fast and was well packaged and straight. I did look into getting mine repaired by a company in Georgia, but that was going to cost nearly as much as buying the one of eBay. So talk to you A&P and decided if it can be repaired economically or consider buying from the eBay seller. I know it hurts to get burned and have to rebuy something, but I just wanted to share my experience and let you know that flyingcolorsairparts2014 is a good seller.

The mounting point distances can change when it is bolted to the firewall. I would put it onto the plane and recheck it. You will likely move one or more points around slightly to get the bolts to go through anyway. It isnt well enough constrained in 3d unless it is mounted to something.

Bull by the horns approach. I love it. I haven't tig welded tubes that small but these clusters seem doable and with a little backside purge it should be fine. I assume this is 4130?6643 wrote: ↑Tue May 20, 2025 5:25 pm Yeah, all the tubes are supposed to be straight.
Make a template of the mounting points on the firewall and transfer it to a piece of 3/4" plywood. Make another one for the back of the engine. (The mounting for the engine can be found in the overhaul manual.)
Cut out the bent tubes, bolt everything down and weld in new tubes as necessary.
