Hello,
I want to bring a set of tie downs from AircraftSpruce.
I see many models, with hammers, with corkscrew design and just steel construction welded or not.
What kit is suitable for a C140 ?
Weight is a factor, I am abandoning my old diy heavy ones.
Thanks a lot,
Horacio

Re: Steel tie downs
The "Claw" is the only tie-downs that I've found to work in any soils I've encountered. I highly recommend them.

Re: Steel tie downs
I have these - they are easy to use and so far seem effective - although not used them in serious winds - importantly they store really easily and are light.

The Claw has a really good record, and are easy to use. I always have a set in my plane.

I have two sets of "Claws". They go everywhere we may need to tie down at. Highly recommend them.
