I have two Mc 17748 props for 85 or O-200 one newly OH'ed and re-set to standard and the other cruse prop. What are they worth - I'm gonna sell them??

I see you have them listed thusly: CM7148 2 units one re-set to standard pitch and one left cruise

7148 means they are pitched 48", which would be a standard prop for a C85 in a 120/140. Do you know what the other one is pitched to? It should be stamped on the hub, as it is no longer a 7148.

Thanks I'll go check the stamps. Do you know if the CM7148 is standard for 0-200 as well?

It depends... The STC holder determines what props are eligible for that installation. McCauley specs 71" as the minimum length on an O-200, so if it's a thousandth less it's ineligible regardless. That prop is commonly found on C85 and C90 installations.

You could call a prop shop or two, and or a couple of salvage yards. Either be up front and say I've got these, what are they worth, or if you want to try the reverse approach, ask for the exact prop you are selling and see what they ask for theirs.

Last time I sold a prop similar to what you have I got $950 for it. That was 20 years ago...........

And Randy's STC for the O200 is quite clear about supported props. My paperwork list the Sensenich 69CK, McCauley 1A100 and 1A101, all 69inches. Max permissible static rpm will vary for each of the models.
