I'm getting a little push back on the field approval for the Grove axles and 8.50 tires from the FSDO. Has anyone hired a DER to write up approved data? I spoke with one who quoted me $250 for the axles and $250 for the tires. It seems reasonable to me, but I'm new to this and wasn't sure, is this in line with anyone's experience?
Thanks as always.

Re: DER Pricing
That is very reasonable pricing. DER's can cost Zillions to have them engineer "fixes" for you.
