Fuel Selector Placard

Post by steve140 »

Hi returning member here. Long time Cessna 140 owner (22 yr). I remember a long time ago there used to be an ad in the newsletters of a guy who made fuel selector placards. I have carpet so stickers aren’t an option. Just wondering if they’re still available. I have a later plane with a Left Both Right Off valve. Thanks.

Steve.

Steve:

Don't remember the ad per se, however, I bought one from, James L Alago, 895 Garfield Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19445 .He sent a nice letter stating that our Bill Rhodes , NW Airlines Retired now :!: , had prompted him to make some more. Said he had made about 200 and was shipping them around the country - that was in March 1993 so he may have "gone west" by now but you may do your search for him or possible heirs who may have residual stock.

I think I saw Bill Rhodes on here not long ago - Bill was the "tech man" for the Association years ago and really put a lot of effort into his support for us. Yeah, I know this is off thread but just wanted to let him know that some of us "ole timers" still remember and appreciate his contribution. :!:

PS I just checked the 2012 Membership Book and James Alago was still a member then - so check the current book. Too early in the morning or I would check his phone #, then again if he sees this he may get a laugh. :)
