I know the official oil quantity specified by Continental for a C85 is 4 1/2 quarts but my IA said I could get away with less and not lose as much out of the breather tube and end up with it on the belly.
So, I was wondering what quantity others running the C85 are using? Possibly 4 Qts. or even 3 1/2 ??
Thanks for your input!

Re: Oil Quantity for C 85
I keep mine between 3.5 and 4 quarts. If you level the airplane it will read a little higher on the dipstick.
