I have Bendix S4LN-21's. Just finished my third 500 hour inspection/repair, though I've had no problems with them.

I too have the Bendix mags. I have not had any magneto problems, ever. Did the 500 hour inspection some time ago, 400 hours or so. Had to replace some parts and one of the magneto gears. I was thinking about ditching them for a set of Slicks, but for the slight weight penalty, they are a better magneto, being infinitely rebuildable.
