rudder travel stops?

Thanks for the advice on this. I looked at my plane yesterday evening. No rudder stops. I've got rivets in that location. Is it possible that some of these planes didn't have the stops?

I don't think so, Dave. There was a service letter (and, subsequent AD as I recall) to remove rudder stop bolts forward of the rudder pedals. However, for rigging the rudder, the specs are "16 degrees from centerline of the airplane, with a tolerance of plus or minus 1 degree. Travel is controlled by stops located on the extreme rear bulkhead. Adjustment is made by increasing or decreasing washer thickness under the head of the bolts which serve as stops". Mac
