the previous owner of my airplane riveted some magnets to the bottom edge of the doors and strapped a steel contact plate onto the wing strut. I'll get some pics tomorrow and share.

Would love to see pics. Been considering doing something similar. My passenger side doesn’t line up with the catch so I need to do something different.
