I have all the documents for my 140 now. They are a 73 year old mess...

Out of the pile of W+B sheets and equipment lists, none of them have a simple weight and balance computation sheet. I sure know the weight as measured on each wheel, but nothing coherent. It's pretty obvious that because the fuel tanks and passenger seats are pretty much the only place you can add weight, calculating the CG does not seem to be something anyone has cared about.

Of course, the original manual for the airplane has nothing resembling a CG envelope diagram or a worksheet. I took the Excel worksheets from a couple of members here, but they all required lots of modification to work. I'd rather just have a simple worksheet, like the newer aircraft, like the 150 and 172 have.

I'll keep looking and in the mean time, I have a lot of work to do to clean up my aircraft documentation..
