I have a 6946 McCauley on a 140 and would like to have a 48. My O200A was done a very early STC long before Randy Thompson’s. I don’t know if I can go to a 71 or if you can go to a 69. I am in the process of replacing my tired O200A so I would like to change at this time if possible. Mine was overhauled about six years and two hundred hours or so ago.

I bought the STC, several years ago, from the previous owner. Since then I added more propeller options. The McCauley 1A101 6948 is the flattest and the maximum static RPM is 2600. The 72 inch props aren’t certified by the manufacturer for the higher O-200 RPM’s necessary for the O-200.

Thanks Randy for the information.

I am Larry Bible, just now back with the organization after three years of absence and massive life change. I will (re) introduce myself in a new thread and catch up.
