I didn’t put the cylinders on so it’s just a guess, but you should fully seat them prior to putting the cylinder on, if you do that and be sure they don’t twist on you, then they can’t twist.
I assume the installer pushed them on and didn’t notice it roll.
If memory serves on a Lycoming they are O-rings and they take less care, maybe he was used to Lycomings?
Of course maybe I’m remembering wrong too.
