Good Morning All,

Once again I am back looking for help. We are at the point of putting the wings back on the 120. Since we bought this project basically in boxes literally in a barn we come up missing a part or two from time to time. Usually not too big a deal, we can usually source something we need at Spruce or Univair or make it locally. We ordered new AN8 strut bolts, and in the process of figuring that out noticed a very small bushing that is used in the front strut attachment. It is listed in Figure 10 as 10-13 and has a part number of 0422261.

This part is actually available at Univair and another place but at a totally jaw dropping price. Must be made of platinum, or unobtainium. Some of you smart folks out there must have run into this same situation, so I am hoping someone might known of a reasonably priced source or alternatively, have the specs for this part so we can make one ourselves.

What is the asking Price from Univair ?

If I remember correctly it’s anywhere from $1200 to $1500 each.......Depending who you buy it from. A good machine shop can fabricate a set just make sure the bolt has the correct fit. Some used ones for sale are worn and badly pitted. This pic was poached from google and yes Randy’s tiedown rings fit over bushing and don’t replace it.

Im in the same boat I'm missing one. I got my plane in boxes also. i've spent a whole day searching went though everything twice and only found one. And i'm not paying Univair's 1280 dollar price tag.

Use the strut you have with the solid end and you won't need the bushing.
