Hi, All:

First post: I bought a C140 recently and am getting the annual done. Looks like I need new exhaust on the left side. Since the originals are hard to find, should I just get the 150 exhaust? Does it go on easily, or does it require modifications? Aircraft Spruce okay? https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/ ... key=228795

Thank you for any advice.

Best,

Jimmy

What part do you need? The exhaust pipe or the shroud? I still have the straight exhaust on my 140 and I had very good luck with Dawleys who made me two new exhaust pipes. My shrouds were still serviceable.

On the other hand the 150 conversion is a good system although you have to cut holes in the nose bowl for the pipes to exit. I do know that the 150 system does provide better cabin heat. I don't know how hard they are to fit up.
