How does one come up with a new weight and balance sheet for an aircraft that has had one missing. Is there a template to follow and re weight the aircraft?

Just curious what the procedure is.

There should be a form in the library on the main web page. Absent any information, you'll have to weigh the plane. It should be done by and signed off by an A&P.

Absent a current weight and balance, the plane does not meet the criteria for airworthiness.

Found some good information and the form in the library. Thank you. One thing I couldn’t find was info on arm reference. Such as where the main datum point is and that distance to the MLG as well as tailwheel.

The datum (Leading edge of the wing) and leveling process (Splice plate aft of the door frame) are called out in the Aircraft Specification (A-768). Stations are measured from the datum. Main gear station depends on which gear legs you have, extenders or not, and variances between airframes. The tailwheel station you should also determine by measurement as there are different tailwheels and different spring sets. The main gear usually falls in the neighborhood of +3 or +4 for early gear and 0 for later, and +201 is a ball park figure for the tail wheel, IIRC.
