Wing internal wiring

Hello,

Early in this year I have rebuilt the electric installation, removed the old cloth covered wires and installed Circuit Breakers instead of fuses.
All wires are new, except the Nav lights on both wings and the Grimes wires that are installed only in the left wing. That wires are still cloth covered.
I searched for similar topics but nothing appeared.
I guess that change the wires inside the wings is not an easy job, any clues ?
My wings are fabric covered, always hangared since I bought the plane, and in good shape.
Thanks a lot,

Horacio

May not be applicable to fabric wings, but I replaced the wiring in my metallized ones and added strobes etc years ago. I ran my wires in split plastic loom to help protect them and keep them in one bundle and attached the loom to ribs as I could with zip ties.

Of course when fabric replacement day comes, then you can do it right with DG clamps etc.

Thanks Jody for your answer,

My left wing has two inspection doors: the little one for Airspeed tubes and the big one for the rear strut.
The right wing has only the rear one.

I think is very difficult, if not impossible, to replace the wires with the wings covered.

Have a nice day !

I do not think replacing the naveigation light wire would be possible with it covered. There are too many bends to get around.

The landing light wires may be possible if there are no clamps to deal with.
