For those who aren't up to speed the bracket between the seats originally was aluminum and later changed to steel. Apparently there was a second failure fatality and the feds are showing a renewed interest in the part as of 12/14/2020.

I checked and mine is steel, though it doesn’t have the relief cut shown in the SB. Assuming it is ok.
