Cessna C120 140 140A Service Manual

Post by 8424 »

I've done all the prerequisite searches on the forum and internet for a service manual specifically for the C120/140/140A. Can't find one.

Many posts here reference the Cessna 100 Series pre-1963. I've got that manual.

Does the Association's Reference Manual have information that would be covered in a service manual? (Obviously I don't have this manual...I know I should have bought it when I joined the Association.)

Thanks for the help!

Steve A H

Update: My wife just bought me the Association's Reference Manual for an early Father's Day gift! What a gal!

Between the 100 series manual, the Association reference manual and AC43.13 you have all that is available, and all you should need, save the wealth of information on this forum... ;)

There is quite a bit of information on servicing contained in the Operations Manual for Cessna 120/140 which you should have in your airplane.

Rick, I've got the operations manual so I've got that covered. We're getting ready to document repairs I've done on my plane on 337's, so was trying to get as many references as possible before getting started. Hangars falling on airplanes generate a lot of paperwork!

Since my wife has provided the Association's Reference Manual, I have everything John has suggested, so we'll go from there on the paperwork. Thanks, John.
