Door Latches
My strut mounted door latches are pretty weak, does anybody know a place to get new ones? ....Thanks...John Sharkey 1946 C140

The part that mounts on the strut is available @ Univair. Kinda pricey ($200 as I recall), but they fit/function well. Of course, at that price it's maybe "worth" fabricating an "owner supplied part"? A very talented old friend/fellow member here made a stainless set for me years back, so it's doable given the skill, tools and time. Too, they're often sold pre-owned on Ebay -- you just have to keep an eagle eye out for them. Mac
