IFR Certification 1947 C140

Hello!
Section II Page 7 of the "Operation Manual for Cessna 120/140" states that my Cessna 140 is certified for Instrument (night) - Model 140, equipped with two-way radio, sensitive altimeter, turn and bank indicator, rate of climb indicator and clock with sweep second hand.
Two questions:
1. What about Instrument (day)?
2. Does my C140 need to adhere to the equipment requirements outlined in the 14 CFR 91.205? Or is my aircraft technically IFR certified based on the operation manual.
Clarification would be much appreciated.
