C-85-12F Timing marks

The timing marks on the crankshaft of my C85-12F indicate top dead center TC and have a 24/ and a /32 with two / / between them. These are obviously timing marks and likely 28 and 30 BTDC. What bothers me is that they aren't equally spaced out and one would think there would be 5 marks 24, 26,28,30,32 instead of 4. Anybody been there.

this? First "mark" is 24, space is 25, next mark is 26...and so on(?).

Incidentally, here's a neat little timing indicator:

The marks start at 24. 2 degrees per mark ends up at 32. Watch timing carefully. If it is off, it can cause big problems. T O
