So, before the forum crashed, I recall reading a thread somewhere on oil leaks on a C85, specifically at the two studs that attach the intake spider to the crankshaft. Can't seem to find anything on it again. Does anyone recall this thread? Curious what was the common issue and the fix for it.

I have seen leaks between the case halves that drip down to the intake spider. Sometimes the bolts that hold the case together can be retorqued to fix it or slow it down.

Yeah, I've seen that as well. Also seen the wrong washers put in there too. The local shop has a 140 in it with this problem, so figured I'd ask around a bit.
