I have a Cessna 120 that I am considering as my next rebuild. The aircraft is a 1947 model SN13957, N1772V. I have all the logbooks on the aircraft along with the original equipment list.I also have the Packing Sheet from Cessna. The packing sheet indicates the first item is the Cessna 120 Airplane. There are four other items listed as optional equipment. My question is what interior items did the Cessna 120 aircraft have as standard. Some people say that it came with seats only and did not come with a headliner, door panels, carpet or any of the interior panels behind the seat. I also have the Pre-Delivery flight test report and all it indicated is that the Cabin Interior was OK, the Upholstery was OK and the Trim was OK. It instresting that there was a list of instruments and the altimeter was marked OK but the others were marked None. They did list the airspeed's so it had airspeed instrument. The 120 was a basic aircraft. Does anybody out there know what interior items that the 120 needs to make it legal. Earl Evans Butler GA Airport 6A1, See you at the convention.

I think you will find all the answers in the Illustrated Parts Catalog. It lists all the parts as applicable to the 120, the 140, or both. Optional equipment is listed for both models near the end of the book. You can download a copy from the resources section of the main web site.
