Horizontal stabilizer leading edge

Hi I'm new to this forum and was wondering if anyone has information on replacing the horizontal stabilizer leading edge. The parts are on order from Univair . I'm also wondering if there might be more things I need to look for once its pulled apart.

Take a good look for corrosion. Last year I started out just replacing the spars in my elevators. Once the mechanics got in there, they decided that the skins were so corroded on the inside they couldn’t stand putting them back together. I bought new spars form Univair, and new corrugated skins from a guy in a Washington State. It’s nice to not have to worry about them anymore.

I am also going to be doing this due to a similar crack. Looking for info about it. I thought i had seen a SB for the reinforcement that goes in it?

Corrugated? Do you mean galvanized? Sorry if I'm confused...

No, corrugated (shaped into alternate ridges and grooves). Not a perfect definition, but close.

The original subject of Horizontal stabilizer got switched to elevator.
There is no corrugated material on the Stabilizer but there is on the elevator.
