Having issue removing gear bolt

I am having issues removing the gear bolt (NAS147-59) on the left gear spring of my C140. I am able to remove the nut on the bottom and the wedges that wedge the gear spring in place, but even then the bolt will not budge when I try to push or pull it up and out. I have tried to take some weight off the gear (gear is off the ground) but haven't got it right. Any suggestions on how to get this one out?

Thanks

Is it loose?
Try turning it with a wrench to make sure.
Then use a brass punch and a BFH (Big Fat Hammer) to drive it out.

Have you tried Kano AeroKoll penetrating oil? Its old school but AN hardware has a tighter fit than standard auto hardware. I had a similar problem with removing wing attachment bolts on an old C-150. The oil isn’t a cure all but it might help when you use a little persuading.

Regarding penetrating oils... you all might be interested in the attached from Machinist's Workshop Magazine. BTW, I have used Mil H 5606 with great results!
