Landing gear refurbish
Does anyone have the proper specifications for shot peening the under surface of the main gear springs? I’m restoring my 140A and have been unsuccessful finding those specs.

a The shot peen specification is to be Almen intensity of 0.012 to 0.016 with
330 steel shot.

Why do you think the main gear legs on your airplane need to be re-shot peened?
