CHT Probe on Spark Plug

I'm changing out spark plugs for the first time on my 140 and noticed that I have a gasket-style CHT temperature probe on the left rear bottom plug. Normally I replace the copper gasket any time I pull a spark plug but that's obviously not an option here. I can't imagine trying to anneal the gasket portion of the sensor either. Does anyone have experience with these? Am I overthinking this and need to just put the new plug in and torque it? For reference it's a C85 and an Electronics International C-1 CHT system.
