Seat Belt Brackets and AirVenture Question

Post by 8296 »

Where is the best or appropriate business to buy a seat bracket? I have David Lowe's STC and tried to PM member or former member (he was selling his airplane a few months back) n9661a about possibly buying his spare but I got no reply. I do not think Univair sells it.

As an aside, does the C120/140 table in the Vintage Hangar shut down Thursday evening at AirVenture? I was there Wednesday through Friday and had the opportunity to ask some questions of the members who graciously gave of their time to be available for membership contact and questions. When I visited the Vintage Hangar Friday, I found the table abandoned. I have no complaints about this but just a "good to know" question for any future AirVenture visits.

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1319 for an appropriate thread on Seat Belt Brackets

Got mine from Yingling.

I am assuming you are referring to the center bracket which were originally aluminum and need to be changed out to steel as per AD 2022-08-03?

My apologizes for not being at the table Thursday or Friday. Both of the couples that usually run the Type Table had prior commitments for those days. We always post that we need volunteers but had no one stepped up this year. Again I feel bad for you and others that see the show later half of the week and we were gone. Promise to be there all week next year. Please see me at convention so I can meet you in person. JEFF
