AV-30 Magnetometer Location?

I'm in the process of installing an AV-30C and struggling to find a location to mount the Magnetometer.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I put the Garmin one under the hat shelf mounted the right way up with some stand-offs. Obviously you can't put anything ferrous near it, but no issues thus far.

I don't have a hat shelf so I'm going to try mounting the magnetometer on the wing rib adjacent to the pitot tube.
I'll follow up and let you know if this location works.

Did you ever find a suitable location for the uAvionix magnetometer?
