Could someone clarify if it is necessary to drop the oil tank on C85 engine to access the right rear attach nut on a Stromberg carburetor? Alternately, is a special wrench/socket needed. Access is extremely tight and requires safety wiring. Thanks

Remove the carb with the intake spider. Easy to work on on the bench.

(Disconnect the linkage and primer line, and slide the rubber tubes off the spider and up the intake tubes. Then, two nuts to drop the spider with the carb.)
